The Alt Shift Arm is required for installing the Billet Case Saver on Rush SR vehicles with Drive-by-Wire motors. Drive-by-Wire motors have a different clutch operator linkage configuration than cable-throttle motors, requiring this alternate shift arm to accommodate the Billet Case Saver assembly.
Without the Alt Shift Arm, the Billet Case Saver cannot be properly mounted on Drive-by-Wire motors. If you're upgrading your Drive-by-Wire Rush SR with a Billet Case Saver, this component is mandatory for correct fitment and operation.
