Ball joint pin for the Rush SR suspension upright assemblies. This hardened steel pin is the ball stud that connects the A-arm to the upright, allowing the suspension to articulate while supporting steering and cornering loads.
The ball joint pin features a spherical head that sits in the upright's ball joint socket and a threaded shank that connects to the A-arm. The ball design allows the suspension to move through its travel while the wheel changes camber and caster angles.
Ball joint pins are wear items that should be inspected for play during suspension service. Worn pins cause vague steering feel and unpredictable handling. Replace if there is noticeable free play when checking by hand.
