Clutch Cable Barrel Nipple 8mm

Barrel nipple for Rush SR clutch cable assembly. This cylindrical fitting crimps or solders onto the end of the clutch cable wire, providing a stop that engages with the clutch pedal lever or clutch release mechanism.

The barrel measures 8mm outer diameter and 13mm height, with a 2.5mm bore for the cable wire. The barrel nipple transfers pedal force from the cable to the clutch mechanism. When the driver presses the clutch pedal, the pedal lever pulls the cable, and the barrel nipple transmits this force to release the clutch.

Barrel nipples should be replaced when installing new cables or if the existing nipple shows wear, deformation, or if the cable has frayed at the nipple attachment point. Proper cable operation is essential for consistent clutch engagement and driver control.
