The Differential Bevel Gear 16T is a hardened steel gear inside the limited slip differential. This 16-tooth gear meshes with the 10-tooth bevel gear to create the pinion gear set that allows the two rear wheels to rotate at different speeds while cornering.
The bevel gears are the core of how a differential works—they allow each wheel to spin at its own speed while still receiving power from the engine. The 10T and 16T gears work together to split and distribute torque between the left and right wheels.
This is an OEM replacement part that comes standard with the Rush SR differential. Sold individually (two required per differential).
