Differential Carrier

Cast aluminum housing assembly that contains the complete limited slip differential mechanism. This carrier bolts to the chassis and houses all internal differential components including the clutch plates, bevel gears, output shafts, and bearings.

The carrier provides the mounting points for the differential to attach to the chassis and supports all the loads transferred through the differential during acceleration, braking, and cornering. It also contains the gear oil that lubricates the internal differential components. The Rush SR uses separate left and right carriers (Differential Carrier LH and Differential Carrier RH) with the differential assembly between them.

This is an OEM replacement part that comes standard with the Rush SR drivetrain. Individual carrier components are available separately for service.
