The Differential Output Shaft (Short) is a hardened steel shaft that transfers power from the differential to the inner CV joint on one side of the Rush SR. This shaft splines into the differential carrier and connects to the inner CV joint via the Inner CV Adaptor Flange.
The Rush SR uses two different length output shafts—short on one side and long on the other—to accommodate the offset differential mounting. The shafts must handle full engine torque while spinning at wheel speed.
This is an OEM replacement part that comes standard with the Rush SR. Sold individually (one per differential side).
