Front Race Pad Set

The 2026 spec front brake pad set is required for all Rush SR competition starting with the 2026 season. This is a Rush Auto Works-developed compound — purpose-built for the Rush SR's 4-piston billet calipers, not an adapted third-party pad. It uses the same "2593" form factor as every previous Rush SR pad, so installation is a direct drop-in: no caliper changes, no hardware swaps. Each pad is laser marked with the Rush Auto Works logo for easy identification.

The pad profile has been optimized to the Rush SR's specific rotor geometry. Previous spec pads had an overhang past the rotor edge that wasted compound and reduced effective contact area. This pad is sized to match the rotor exactly, giving a slightly larger contact footprint and better use of the full pad surface throughout its life.

Compared to previous spec pads, these deliver noticeably improved stopping power, better front-to-rear balance, and significantly longer service life. Amateur drivers typically see pad temperatures around 1,000°F, with advanced drivers pushing up to 1,300°F — this pad handles both ends of that range without fade or inconsistency.

Pad thickness must be 14.6mm — 15mm pads will not fit the Rush SR calipers. Lotus Elise 05+ front pads share the general 2593 shape and will physically fit, but a slight modification is needed to optimize fit and maximize contact area. The spec pad is already built to the Rush SR caliper's exact geometry, no modification required.
