GCU Series B (DBW)

The GCU Series B is designed specifically for Rush SR cars equipped with 2022+ Suzuki GSXS Drive-by-Wire (DBW) motors. This Gear Control Unit manages the pneumatic shift system by controlling compressed air flow to the shift actuator and coordinating electronic throttle control with the ECU.

On DBW cars, the GCU sends electrical signals directly to the ECU for throttle cuts during upshifts and throttle blips during downshifts, eliminating the need for mechanical components like the pneumatic throttle cable puller or solid-state ignition interruptor used on older throttle cable systems.

This unit only works with 2022+ Suzuki GSXS DBW motors. If your Rush SR has a pneumatic throttle cable puller mounted near the throttle body, you have an older throttle cable system and need the GCU Series A instead.
