Hydramat Fuel Suction Booster Kit

The Hydramat Fuel Suction Booster Kit is a fuel pickup enhancement system designed for the Rush SR's 5-gallon rotary-molded fuel tank. The kit includes a special absorbent mat that installs in the bottom of the fuel tank around the fuel pump pickup. The mat wicks fuel to the pump pickup even when the fuel sloshes away from the pickup during hard cornering or braking. Without a Hydramat or similar system, the fuel pump can suck air when fuel moves away from the pickup during high-G corners or when fuel level is low. This causes momentary fuel starvation and loss of power. Note: This Hydramat kit is designed for the 5-gallon rotary-molded tank, which is no longer sold. The Rush SR now uses a 6-gallon cockpit fuel cell system.
