M5 x 0.8 x 5 Nylon Zinc G8 Bolt

M5 x 0.8 x 5 hex bolt with nylon insert locknut and zinc plating. Grade 8 steel construction. This small bolt is used throughout the Rush SR in various assemblies including the air shifter system, electrical components, pedal box, rear clamshell, sidepods, and floor panels.

The nylon insert in the locknut prevents the bolt from loosening due to vibration, making it ideal for high-vibration racing environments. The zinc plating provides corrosion resistance. Grade 8 steel provides sufficient strength for these applications while keeping weight low.

Used in locations where a small, lightweight fastener is needed and where vibration resistance is important. The 5mm length is suitable for thin panels and components. Always torque to manufacturer specifications—overtightening can strip threads in aluminum components.
