Nankang AR-1 205/60 R13 rear tire for Rush SR. This is the mandated spec tire for all Rush SR competition - the 200-treadwear DOT-legal tire provides consistent grip and predictable handling.

The Rush SR runs a staggered tire setup with narrower 185/60 R13 fronts and wider 205/60 R13 rears. This rear tire mounts on the 13x8.5" rear wheels. The AR-1 compound balances dry grip with wet-weather capability. Many teams start with cold pressures in the 16-20 psi range, adjusting based on track temperature and handling balance.

Being a control tire simplifies setup and creates a level playing field across the series. The AR-1 has proven reliable with good consistency throughout its wear cycle. Teams should monitor tread depth and look for unusual wear patterns that might indicate suspension issues.
