Quick Release Hub

Quick release hub for the Rush SR steering wheel assembly. This hub mounts to the steering column splined shaft and provides the mating surface for the steering wheel quick release mechanism.

The quick release allows the steering wheel to be detached for easier driver entry and exit from the tight cockpit. The hub includes detent grooves that engage with spring-loaded balls in the steering wheel side of the mechanism for positive locking.

The hub should be inspected for wear at the detent grooves and spline interface. Worn hubs can cause steering wheel play or inconsistent detent engagement.

This is an OEM replacement part used in quick release assembly maintenance.
