Steering Rack Body

Main housing for the Rush SR steering rack assembly. This aluminum body contains all internal rack components including the pinion, shaft, bushings, and tensioner assembly.

The rack body is the central structural component of the steering rack. It mounts to the chassis via the upper and lower mount brackets and provides the bore surfaces for the internal sliding and rotating components.

The rack body is typically only replaced if damaged in a collision or if the internal bore surfaces are scored or worn beyond specification. Individual internal components can usually be replaced without replacing the entire body.

This is an OEM replacement part used in complete steering rack rebuilds or collision repair.
