Steering Rack Cap

End cap for the Rush SR steering rack housing. This cap seals the end of the rack body and contains the bushings or seals that support the rack shaft as it exits the housing.

The rack cap provides a bearing surface for the rack shaft and seals the internal components from contamination. Wiper seals at the cap opening prevent dirt and moisture from entering the rack housing.

Replace the rack cap if the internal bore is worn or if the sealing surfaces are damaged. The cap should be inspected during rack rebuilds.

This is an OEM replacement part used in steering rack rebuilds and maintenance.
