Rectifier

12V 50A rectifier (also called regulator/rectifier) for the Rush SR electrical system. The rectifier converts AC power from the alternator to DC power for the battery and electrical systems, and regulates the voltage to prevent overcharging.

The Rush SR uses a motorcycle-style alternator that produces AC power. The rectifier converts this AC to DC and maintains the battery voltage at approximately 14.4V while the engine is running. The 50A rating indicates the maximum current the rectifier can handle—sufficient for the Rush SR's electrical loads including the ECU, dash, lights, and other accessories.

The rectifier is typically mounted in a location with good airflow for cooling, as it generates heat during operation. If you're experiencing charging issues (battery not charging, overcharging, or electrical system problems), the rectifier may be failing. Check connections and test voltage output with the engine running.

This is an OEM replacement part that comes standard with the Rush SR.
