Rotor Bobbin

Rotor bobbin for Rush SR floating brake rotor system. The bobbin is a small cylindrical component that connects the brake rotor disc to the disc carrier, allowing the rotor to "float" and expand/contract with heat without warping.

Floating rotors use bobbins to create a small gap between the rotor disc and carrier, which allows thermal expansion during braking. This design prevents rotor warping and maintains consistent brake performance under high temperatures. The bobbins also help reduce heat transfer from the rotor to the hub assembly.

This is an OEM replacement part. Multiple bobbins are required per rotor—check your specific rotor configuration for the exact quantity needed.
