Nitrogen piston used in the Rush SR's nitrogen-charged shock system. The N2 piston separates the shock oil from the nitrogen gas chamber, preventing oil foaming and maintaining consistent damping performance.
The Rush SR uses two-way adjustable coilover shocks with nitrogen gas pressurization. The N2 piston creates a barrier between the oil and nitrogen, allowing the nitrogen to pressurize the system without mixing with the oil. This prevents cavitation and fade during extended track sessions, maintaining consistent damping characteristics even as shock oil heats up.
This is an OEM replacement part used in Rush SR shock rebuilds and repairs.
