Shock Piston Rod

Piston rod that connects the shock piston to the suspension on the Rush SR. The rod extends from the shock body and attaches to the suspension, transferring forces between the suspension and the shock's damping system.

The piston rod moves in and out of the shock body as the suspension compresses and extends. It's attached to the shock piston inside the body, so when the suspension moves, the rod and piston move together, forcing oil through the valving system to create damping. The rod must maintain a good seal where it enters the shock body to prevent oil leakage.

This is an OEM replacement part used in Rush SR shock rebuilds and repairs.
