Shock Piston

Piston that moves within the shock body to create damping in the Rush SR shock system. The piston forces oil through the shock's valving system during compression and rebound strokes, creating the damping forces that control suspension movement.

The shock piston is attached to the piston rod and moves up and down within the shock body as the suspension compresses and extends. Oil flows through ports in the piston and through the valving system, creating resistance that dampens suspension movement. The piston's design and the valving system determine the shock's damping characteristics.

This is an OEM replacement part used in Rush SR shock rebuilds and repairs.
