Spiral retaining ring for Rush SR quick release steering hub. This 1.0625-inch diameter stainless steel ring secures components within the quick release assembly.

Spiral retaining rings provide axial retention of components within a housing or on a shaft. The 0.05-inch thickness and spiral design allow the ring to be installed with simple tools. The ring fits into a groove and prevents axial movement of adjacent components.

Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in the steering column environment. Retaining rings should be replaced if they show signs of fatigue, deformation, or loss of retention force.

Sold individually. This is an OEM replacement part used in quick release assembly maintenance.
