Steering Rack Adjustment Jam Nut

Jam nut for the Rush SR steering rack adjustment. This 3/4"-10 thread nut locks the rack adjustment setting in place to prevent the adjustment from changing during use.

The jam nut is tightened against the adjuster after the desired rack preload is set. This prevents the adjuster from backing out due to vibration or steering loads. The nut must be loosened before making any rack adjustments and re-tightened after.

Jam nuts should be replaced if threads are damaged or if the nut no longer holds the adjustment securely.
