Steering Shaft Hanger

Bearing support bracket (pillow block) for the Rush SR steering column. This hanger mounts to the chassis and supports the steering shaft center section along its length, preventing flex and vibration while maintaining proper column alignment.

The Rush SR steering column runs from the cockpit back to the rack pinion, and this relatively long shaft needs intermediate support to prevent whipping or resonance at speed. The shaft hanger uses a sealed bearing to support the rotating column while the bracket bolts rigidly to the chassis structure. This eliminates column deflection under steering loads and prevents annoying vibration feedback through the steering wheel.

Replacement part if your bearing has developed noise or play. If you hear clicking or feel notchiness when turning the wheel, or if there's visible play when you grab the steering shaft and try to move it up/down, inspect this bearing support. Works with the steering column frame bracket to fully support the column assembly.
