Heavy-duty webbing strap for 5-gallon fuel tank. No longer available (tank discontinued).
The Tank Retainer Strap is a heavy-duty webbing strap that secures the fuel tank to the chassis on the Rush SR. This strap wraps over the top of the fuel tank and bolts to mounting points on each side of the tank bay, holding the tank firmly in place.
Fuel tanks can shift under racing loads (acceleration, braking, cornering) if not properly secured. The retainer strap prevents vertical movement of the tank, keeping it seated properly in the chassis and preventing damage to fuel lines and fittings.
Note: This strap is designed for the 5-gallon rotary-molded fuel tank, which is no longer sold. The Rush SR now uses a 6-gallon cockpit fuel cell system.
