Throttle Cable Barrel Nipple 5.5mm

Barrel nipple for Rush SR throttle cable assembly. This cylindrical fitting crimps or solders onto the end of the throttle cable wire, providing a stop that engages with the throttle body or pedal mechanism.

The barrel measures 5.5mm outer diameter and 7.25mm height, with a 2.2mm bore for the cable wire. This smaller size is matched to the throttle cable system, which uses thinner wire than the clutch cable. The barrel nipple transfers pedal force from the cable to the throttle mechanism.

Barrel nipples should be replaced when installing new cables or if the existing nipple shows wear or deformation. Proper cable operation is essential for consistent throttle response.
