Welded Pedal Box

The welded pedal box is the standard brake and clutch control assembly on the Rush SR, housing the dual master cylinder brake system and cable-operated clutch actuation in a single welded steel unit.

The box mounts to the floor with four bolts and is adjustable fore/aft to fit different driver sizes. The gold foot plate must be removed for top access during installation or adjustment. If moved far forward, you may need to cut slots for steering rack pedestal clearance — additional holes can also be drilled if the provided adjustment range isn't sufficient.

The brake side uses a dual master cylinder setup with separate front and rear circuits, connected to the dash-mounted brake bias adjuster via a mechanical bias bar. The clutch pedal uses cable actuation (not hydraulic). The pivot shaft — a hardened steel component — serves as the central pivot for both the brake and clutch pedals.
