The wrapped exhaust Y-pipe is a stainless steel section of the Rush SR exhaust system, connecting the collector output to the dual silencers. It comes pre-wrapped in thermal exhaust wrap, which reduces radiated heat in the engine bay and helps keep cockpit temperatures manageable. This is the OEM replacement Y-pipe—same as what ships on every Rush SR from the factory.
The Rush SR exhaust system consists of stainless steel headers, this Y-pipe crossover, and dual silencers. Replace this component when the pipe shows cracks, corrosion, or when the wrap has deteriorated and heat management has become an issue.
