Coupling Center

Machined steel center section of the Rush SR steering column assembly. This component forms the middle segment of the three-piece steering column, connecting between the coupling knuckles that allow the column to articulate with chassis flex while maintaining precise steering input.

The Rush SR uses a segmented steering column design rather than a single solid shaft to accommodate the tight cockpit packaging and provide some collapse safety in an impact. The coupling center is the main shaft section that transmits steering torque from the wheel down to the rack pinion.

Replacement part if your steering column center section is damaged or worn. Works with the steering shaft hanger mount to support and stabilize the column assembly. If you're rebuilding the steering column, inspect the universal joint components for play at the same time.
