Shift Arm

Machined aluminum lever that connects the pneumatic shift cylinder to the transmission's shift drum. When the shift cylinder extends or retracts (controlled by paddle shifter input), the shift arm rotates the shift drum to engage the next gear up or down.

The shift arm is positioned to translate the linear motion of the pneumatic actuator into rotational movement of the transmission shift drum. This mechanical linkage must be precisely adjusted for proper shift engagement - too much or too little rotation results in missed shifts or grinding. The arm mounts to the engine case with the shift cylinder pushing/pulling on its end.

Note: Most Rush SR vehicles use Drive-by-Wire motors, which require the Alt Shift Arm instead of this standard shift arm. The Alt Shift Arm accommodates the different clutch operator linkage configuration on Drive-by-Wire motors and is required when installing the Billet Case Saver.

This is an OEM replacement part that comes standard with the Rush SR's pneumatic shift system.
